WHAT HAPPENED TO LEVEL THUMBNAILS?

Okay first things first. There is nothing to worry about. Thumbnails is NOT forever doomed.

So what exactly happened?

Github sent an email to cdc asking to delete AND backup the repo because the thumbnails repo has reached 43 GIGABYTES in size. Backups have been made so there is no point in worrying. Cdc is working with Prevter to get a new thumbnails server running.

Is there a temporary fix?

Absolutely! I made a backup of ALL thumbnails and serve them on my server. Just go to the level thumbnails settings and set the Level Thumbnails URL setting to https://tjcsucht.net/levelthumbs You should now be seeing thumbnails again.
